$757,000 in CARES funds coming

Taylor County is in line to receive a second up-front allocation through the federal CARES Act to help individuals, small businesses and local governments offset the economic impacts of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

But, before the county can receive the second payment, the first allocation must be spent.
