PPD, community partner to clean up ‘The Trap’

Residents too scared to check their mailboxes.

Homeowners unable to lay down at night in their own beds and rest comfortably.

Church members tired of seeing illicit behavior surrounding their house of worship.

Those were some of the primary complaints that included drug sales, gambling, prostitution and illegal alcohol sales that prompted the Perry Police Department (PPD) to launch a more than a year-long investigation into the area known as “The Trap.”
