Court may open soon

The Taylor County court system is expected to move into “Phase 3” of a re-opening plan outlined by the Florida Supreme Court – opening the door to expanded in-person court proceedings later this month.

Circuit Judge Greg Parker said that a grand jury will be convened toward the end of October, adding that proceedings will be held in the main courtroom.
