Early election votes hit 30% here

Early voting in Taylor County is continuing at a record pace, with nearly 30% of the county’s registered voters having already voted by press time Thursday — with 12 days remaining until the Nov. 3 general election.

According to Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland, by the end of the third day of early voting (Wednesday), a total of 1,310 voters had cast their ballot.
