The 65th annual Florida Forest Festival was as much about family as it was forestry this year – with families gathering together along Jefferson Street to watch the King Tree Parade and enjoy, for a brief moment, a return to normalcy in these COVID-ridden times. Smiling faces greeted those marching in the parade, which included Smokey Bear, high school bands, cheerleaders, kings, queens and loggers.
