Walter Tracy McCall, beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many, passed away on Oct. 24, 2020, after a brief illness.
Mr. McCall, 69, was the ninth child born to James H. and Jewel McCall in Fenholloway.
He was a member of the Grand View Mennonite Church where he immediately became loved by all. He loved working with the youth in the church and he especially loved the music.
Mr. McCall was also an active member of AA for more than 33 years. He generously gave of his time to serve as a sponsor of others.
He lived most of his life in Florida and worked for several years as a trucker. He moved to Idaho approximately 10 years ago to be near his sister, Lavonne Heuck, and her family.
He loved fishing and spent countless hours in the mountains around Silver City, Idaho.
Mr. McCall is survived by his sisters, Virginia Trofemuk, Merelyn Holmes, Lavonne Heuck, Hope Sullivan and Carol Clifford as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by: his parents; his wife, Betty; and his brothers, James F. McCall, Samuel H. McCall, G. Lindsay McCall and J. Timothy McCall.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Grand View Mennonite Church with burial in Grand View Mennonite Cemetery.
