VFW drawing will be held on Nov. 11

VFW Post 9225 is holding a raffle for an AR-15 (.223/5.56) with 100 rounds of ammo to raise funds to help local veterans.

Tickets are $5 each or five for $20.

To purchase tickets, please contact one of the following VFW members: Mike Thrift, Jimmy Slone, William Palmer, Denny Knight, Kenneth Allbritton, Don Norris, Bruce Sherwood or Tim McGuffie.

The drawing will be held on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. (You do not need to be present to win.)

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

The winner must pass a background check.

In lieu of the gun, the winner may elect to receive a $500 cash prize.
