County inmates to provide labor

The Taylor County Commission will continue to receive inmate work squad labor from the Taylor County Jail after renewing an interlocal agreement with Sheriff Wayne Padgett.

The county commission originally entered into the agreement with the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office back in March in light of a reduced number of inmate work squads from Taylor Correctional Institution (TCI) due to staff shortages.
