The Taylor County Commission is scheduled to consider a series of amendments to the county’s comprehensive plan next week to bring it into compliance with recently-passed state legislation.
According to County Building Department Director Danny Griner, the amendments are a result of the Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR), which must be conducted every seven years to evaluate the local comprehensive plan for compliance with growth-management requirements in state statues.
