    Catherine Lynn Drawdy

    Mrs. Catherine Lynn Drawdy, 54, of Perry, passed away on Dec. 26, 2020, in Tallahassee.

    Cathie was born Aug. 16, 1966, in Jacksonville at the Naval Air Station.

    She married a lifelong friend, Willy Drawdy, in Chatanooga, Tenn., 20 years ago and traveled the country together due to Willy working as a long haul truck driver.

    She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

    In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, crocheting, gardening and crafts.

    Cathie was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Eric Owens, and a daughter, Erica Lynn Owens.

    She is survived by: her husband of 20 years, William Durwood “Willy” Drawdy of Perry; her mother, Katie Cash of Jacksonville; five sons, John Owens and wife, Anju, of Orange Park, Paul Owens and wife, Channing, of Green Cove Springs, Casey Owens and wife, Brandy, of Winston-Salem, N.C., Patrick Drawdy and wife, Caitlyn, of Perry and Cody Owens and wife, Victoria, of Jacksonville; one daughter, Brandi Owens of Perry; four brothers, Ronnie Granaas of Jacksonville, Richard Granaas of Asheville, N.C., Jimmy Granaas of Little Rock, Ark., and Bill Granaas of Jacksonville; and five grandchildren, Arick, Anakin, Eden, Cooper and Tucker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
