Friends of the Library welcomes romance author Virginia Crane for Zoom meeting Monday, Jan. 25

The Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will host an online program via Zoom featuring author Virginia Crane on Monday, Jan. 25, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Crane, whose real name is Virginia Czaja, has written 18 romantic comedies, in which most of the action takes place in small, fictional south Florida towns.

A retired nurse, Crane was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Alexandria, Va.

She and her husband moved to Port Charlotte after they retired and that’s when she started her writing career.
