C.J. Moore is first New Year’s baby of 2021 for Taylor County

“Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” That’s the quote Sarena Peacock said comes to mind when she thinks of her daughter, C.J. Moore. Born with a cleft lip, “C.J. is all good, and her team of doctors is planning surgery in the near future.”

Taylor County’s New Year’s Baby for 2021 has a special guardian angel looking over her — her namesake and maternal grandmother, Cynthia.

Little Cynthia Jo (C.J.) Moore arrived on Friday, Jan. 1, weighing six pounds, six ounces.
