Utility late fees resume April 1

Following a one-year grace period, the City of Perry will soon resume charging late fees to customers who fail to pay their city utility bills by the due date.

“All City of Perry utility billing will go back to normal as of April 1, 2021,” City Finance Director Penny Staffney said, adding that the city will once again include late fees, as applicable, on city utility bills.
