Man beaten with hand-made whip

A Perry man was arrested last week for allegedly beating another man with a four-foot hand-made metal whip that left five swollen and bruised welts.

During the attack, the victim fell to the ground and damaged his eye when he landed on a piece of scrap metal, according to an arrest affidavit filed back in June 2020.
