UF/IFAS Taylor County Extension Master Gardener program is offering monthly plant clinics at the Taylor County Public Library on the fourth Monday of each month.
On Monday, March 22, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., community members are invited to the Library Plant Clinic to discuss this month’s topic — composting.
During this month’s clinic, participants will learn how to make “black gold” in three to four months.
Those who plan to attend are reminded to bring a plant, or anything horticulturally related, to exchange.
Community members who are interested in participating, but are unable to, may catch the clinic at the Mayo Public Library on the second Monday of each month, also from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The monthly plant clinics are free events, with no registration required, but seating is limited. Face masks are required.
Lisa Strange, Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent II, will serve as the instructor for the event.
