Old Dixie sidewalk bids are in

Taylor County has received three bids to construct a sidewalk running along Old Dixie Highway from Jefferson Street to Plantation Road.

At the commission’s Tuesday, March 16, meeting, Taylor County Clerk of Court Gary Knowles said a fourth bid was received on Monday — after the Friday, March 12, deadline. That bid was not opened.
