For the second time in two months, the City of Perry was unable to conduct regular business at one of its twice-monthly meetings due to a majority of the council failing to show up for the Tuesday meeting.
Only Councilmember Ward Ketring and Councilwoman Shirlie Hampton were in attendance at the city’s most recent June 8 meeting, forcing the city to postpone final public hearings and votes on two items on the agenda.
