    Attorney General Moody honors officers for service and sacrifice

    Members of the Perry Police Department were recognized by Attorney General Ashley Moody Monday as part of her Thin Line Tribute Initiative.     Members of the Perry Police Department (PPD) were the first in the Big Bend region to be recognized by Attorney General Ashley Moody on Monday, June 14, for their selfless dedication, daily service and sacrifice while serving on the front lines and protecting the public.

    Chief of Police Jamie Cruse and 11 local officers gathered at the PPD station to be recognized by Moody as part of her Thin Line Tribute Initiative, which was founded just one month ago “to recognize the hard work and dedication of our brave frontline law enforcement officers.”
