    District spends $60,000 in CARES Act funds on supplies for students

    For parents, stocking up on school supplies has become a routine part of their “back to school” preparations for their students. However, this year, they can mark that chore off their list.

    On Tuesday, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Danny Glover Jr. announced that the district has utilized an estimated $60,000 in federal CARES funds to purchase school supplies for all incoming students for the 2021-22 school year.
