City expecting COVID federal reimbursement

The City of Perry could receive a “substantial” amount of reimbursement for public safety and first responder salaries and benefits under the federal government’s American Rescue Plan Act.

While they continue to await the exact amount based on a formula from the Department of Treasury, city staff has been notified that it will be eligible to receive federal funds.
