Domestic dispute erupts into gunfire

An early-morning domestic altercation Sunday escalated to gunfire when a suspect pulled a firearm and began shooting into a nearby home, causing its occupants to escape through a window and hide in their car.

Jeremy Alan Schell, 31, posted a $20,000 bond and was released Monday after being booked on several felony charges related to the incident, including use of firearm under the influence of alcohol, firing a weapon in public (or on residential property), aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and domestic battery by strangulation.
