The Taylor County Commission had to get a little creative to cover one last unexpected budgetary shortfall in the upcoming Gas Plant Road widening and resurfacing project.
The county has already had to earmark an extra $100,000 in local paving funds, and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) — which originally funded the projected — provided an additional $335,000 last month.
