A federal COVID-19 mandate for employees of large businesses set to go into effect on Jan. 4 has been stayed by a federal circuit court after numerous states sued the federal government.
In early September, President Joe Biden announced a series of executive orders which, in part, ordered private employers with 100 or more employees to institute mandatory vaccinations or weekly COVID testing, a move that is expected to impact more than 80 million workers in the country.
