The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) updated its guidance on COVID-19 vaccine booster shots this week, lowering the eligibility age to 12.
Additionally, the CDC is also advising those who received the Pfizer vaccine — which includes all those in the younger age group just approved for the booster – get the extra shot five months after completing their initial two-dose regimen.
