DMH prepares for vax mandate after court rules

Last Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court halted a federal requirement that employees of large-scale companies be vaccinated against COVID-19 or submit to weekly tests, however, the court also upheld a separate rule that employees of many medical facilities must be vaccinated.

The impact of the two rulings will be felt across the country, including in Taylor County, where the largest health care employer to be impacted would be Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH).
