If current spending trends continue, the Taylor County School District will have to dip into its anticipated fund balances (reserves) by up to $1.7 million to cover expenditures that are projected to exceed its current budget.
Superintendent of Schools Paul Dyal shared the update during a mid-year budget review held during a workshop prior to the district Jan. 18 regular board meeting.
