Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) ended the first quarter of its fiscal year with improved financials compared to the prior year.
Although the hospital ended the quarter–June through August–with a $243,000 operating loss, this was a $409,000 improvement over the identical quarter in 2012, when the hospital reported a $652,000 operating loss, according to figures presented by DMH CEO Geri Forbes to the Taylor County Commission Monday evening.
