Wilkinson gets life sentence for murder

The family of Ashley Wayne Adams faced his killer in court Friday during an emotion-filled afternoon of testimony.

Patrick Alexander Wilkinson, who had been indicted for first degree murder for Adams’ death, pled guilty to a lesser included charge of second degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison.
