Pre-K ranking jumps from 61 to 28 in Fla.

Pre-K teachers are laying a strong foundation for incoming kindergarten students, with the Taylor County School District now ranking 28th in the state in kindergarten readiness scores – a huge leap from the district’s ranking of 61 out of 67 counties last year.

The rankings are based on the Florida Kindergarten Readiness Screener (FLKRS), which is administered annually.
