Carolyn Livingston Lindsey, 80, passed away on June 7, 2022, in Gainesville.
She was born May 19, 1942, in Tifton, Ga., to Carl Patton and Inez Wallis Patton.
Carolyn led a quiet life and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She worked for more than 20 years as the Town Clerk of Mayo.
Carolyn was preceded in death by: her husbands, Jerry Livingston and Fred Lindsey; her parents, Carl and Inez Patton; an infant son; and her brother, Buddy Patton.
She is survived by: two sons, Newt Livingston and his wife, Kim, and Jason Livingston and his wife, Amanda; five grandchildren, Kolby, Kameron, Taylor, Cassidy and Kailee; two great-grandchildren, Rowyn and River; and three sisters, Grace Allen, Bonnie Allen and Joyce Abbott; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held on Friday, June 10, at 9 a.m. at Bethel Cemetery with Pastor Steve Fox officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local hospice or a charity of choice.
All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
