Legislative Delegation set Jan. 30

State Representative Jason Shoaf, chair of the Taylor County Legislative Delegation, has announced Taylor County’s annual legislative delegation hearing has been re-scheduled for Monday, Jan. 30, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Taylor County Administrative Complex in Perry.

Taylor County’s legislative delegation – which includes Shoaf (R-Port St. Joe) and Senator Cory Simon (R-Tallahassee) – holds a public hearing each year to allow local officials, members of the public and other interested parties the opportunity to present legislative proposals or express opinions on state issues.

The regular Session of the Florida Legislature will convene on Tuesday, March 7, in Tallahassee.

The local hearing will be held in the Taylor County Board of County Commissioners meeting room located at 201 E. Green Street.
