Poetry reading, book signing set Jan. 30 at library

    Posted on January 25, 2023

On Monday, Jan. 30, the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will present an in-person program featuring local creative poet Natalie Salmons.

She will read from her first published book of poetry, “Green Striped Socks And Other Poems.”

“Her poems are simple and positive, and reminiscent of the writings of Dr. Seuss, Shel Silverstein and Emily Dickinson,” organizers said.

The program is free and open to the public. The poetry reading and book signing will be held at the library, located at 403 North Washington Street, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

The program will also be live-streamed on the library’s Facebook page.
