FCAT Writing Test set Feb. 26 for Taylor students

The Taylor County School District would like to remind students and parents that the FCAT 2.0 Writing Test will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 26.

Students throughout the State of Florida in grades 4, 8, and 10 will take this assessment which helps determine their proficiency level in the area of writing. The results of these tests are also used in the calculation of each school’s grades.

“The teachers and students have been working hard in the classrooms this year,” Superintendent Paul Dyal said. “I encourage parents to make sure our students get plenty of rest, have a good breakfast, and arrive on time. Together, we can ensure that our students do their very best.”
