‘Spring Fling’ is March 25

A “Spring Fling” dance party is planned for Saturday, March 25, at the Steinhatchee Community Center to raise funds for sports and recreational opportunities in the Steinhatchee area.

The “Spring Fling” dance is scheduled from 7-9 p.m. (doors open at 6:45 p.m.). A $5 donation is requested to attend (chaperones are admitted free). Music will be provided by DJ POW, and there will be a limbo contest and concession stand available for snacks.

All children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Proceeds will go to fund sports and recreation for Steinhatchee families through the Steinhatchee Stingrays Recreation Association (SSRA), which hosts adult co-ed softball at the Steinhatchee School baseball/softball fields on Monday nights at 6 p.m. and recently spearheaded a family “Clean-Up Day” at D-TRAC (Jena) Park.
