    Missionary Alfreda Kimble, 70, of Perry, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023.

    Graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 7, at 11 a.m. at Springhill Cemetery in Perry.

    Viewing will be held Tuesday, June 6, from 5-6 p.m. at Evans Walker Funeral Home, 907 Homer J. Smith Avenue.

    Alfreda is survived by her two sisters, Gwen Hall (Alex) and Elizabeth Nixon.

    She is also survived by Bishop Thomas and the Macedonia Church Family.

    Margie Nell Parker

    Mrs. Margie Nell Parker, 84, passed away at her home on June 5, 2023, in Perry.

    She was born April 25, 1939, in Crestview to Jack H. Henderson and Ola Mae Cosson Henderson.

    She was of the Christian faith and was a member of Antioch Revival Center in Perry.

    Margie was a homemaker for her family, but worked numerous jobs over the years, including as a sales clerk for Jeannie’s Dress Shop and as a waitress at Pouncey’s Restaurant.

    In her spare time, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, yard sales and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

    Margie was preceded in death by: her parents, Jack Henderson and Ola Mae Cosson; and a daughter, Debbie Weekley.

    She is survived by: her husband of 46 years, Robert Parker; six sons, Eddie Weekley and wife, Kathy, of Bonifay, Kenneth Weekley and wife, Lisa, of Perry, Danny Weekley of Perry, Mark Weekley of Citrus Springs, Robert Parker Jr. and wife, Candy, of Coffee Springs, Ala., and Don Parker and wife, Marsha, of Perry; three daughters, Theresa Weekley Bair and husband, Tim, of Albany, Ga., Vivian Parker Bass of Boca Raton and Dorothy Parker Willard and husband, John, of Thomasville, Ga.; a sister, Mary Parker and husband, Randall Parker, of Holt; and 31 grandchildren; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8, at 11 a.m. At Burns Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Perry with Brother Cricket Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
