Friday morning fire

Tenants of a single-wide mobile home managed to escape without injury before their home was destroyed by fire early Friday morning, June 9. “Everybody got out safely, and there were no injuries,” Taylor County Fire-Rescue (TCFR) officials said. The fire was reported at 5:35 a.m. at the trailer park located on North James D. Smith Road (off Johnson Stripling Road).
