Contestants in the fifth annual “Little Miss Red, White & Blue” pageant will take the stage Thursday, June 22.
Ceremonies will be held at Forest Capital Hall, starting at 6 p.m.
Admission is $5, and programs will be available for $10 each.
Contestants who are not named to the respective courts will be recognized as “Little Miss Firecrackers.”
Reigning Miss Florida Forest Festival Queen Liz Newman will serve as emcee for the program.
“Admission will be free for all veterans, and there will be special reserved seating for them,” coordinator Dawn Perez said.
Contestants will introduce themselves to the audience and judges during a patriotic opening number.
Then, they will return to the stage for the evening gown competition and to share their answers to the question posed by local veteran James Taylor, “Why do I love America?”
