VFW hosts 4th of July fun on July 1

VFW Post 9225 will host a 4th of July celebration on Saturday, July 1, starting at 10 a.m.

“We will have a waterslide for kids and will have hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and candy bars available for purchase,” Post Commander Michael Thrift said.

The event is being supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Shady Grove Community Council.

Everyone is welcome. The post is located at 9684 Highway 221 North.
