Taxable values are up 11.7% in the city

Heading into budget planning discussions for the upcoming 2023-24 fiscal year, city council members have been informed they can expect to have an additional $100,000 in local tax revenues to help offset rising costs – even if they follow through with their intent to lower the property tax (millage) rate slightly from the current level.
