Aug. 17 is deadline to register for pageant

The deadline to register for the 2023 Miss Florida Forest Festival Pageant will be this Thursday, Aug. 17.

The pageant, held in conjunction with the annual Florida Forest Festival, is open to junior and senior girls (must be Taylor County residents).

The new queen will be crowned during ceremonies planned for Saturday, Oct. 14, at Forest Capital Hall.
