Council chooses new commercial solid waste firm

After months of discussion and debate over competing solid waste collection and disposal proposals from Waste Pro and Pop’s Sanitation, the city council has instead awarded a bid to Georgia-based Deep South Sanitation to service commercial businesses with dumpsters inside the city limits.
