A newly established non-profit group, headed by former Taylor County resident Garry L. McNealy Jr., will hold its first event here in Perry Saturday, Dec. 21.
Bridging the GAPP (Gaining A Positive Perspective) will be giving away 200 turkeys for local families in need at the Taylor Senior Citizens Center (located on Ash Street) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“The first 50 turkeys will be earmarked for seniors served at the center; the remaining turkeys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis,” McNealy said.
McNealy serves as CEO/ president of Bridging the GAPP; Kenneth J. Alexander, is CFO and Marvin D. Stockton is COO/vice president.
