End of an era

The GP Foley Cellulose Mill continued shutting down this past week, producing its last “jumbo roll” on Sunday morning, Oct. 1. The last roll of paper was signed by employees (above), some of whom also shared photos of the final steam blow-off (left) that marked the end of a nearly 70-year era in Taylor County.
