Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland coordinated a flag-changing ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park Friday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day. U.S. Marine veteran Tommy Mauldin delivered the opening prayer and led the Pledge of Allegiance. The JROTC presided over lowering the memorial flag which honored U.S. Air Force veteran Travis Beach and the raising of memorial flag honoring U.S. Army veteran Charles Harold Hill Sr.
