One Steinhatchee student and her family were pleasantly surprised when what they thought was a routine “school recognition” event turned out to be a life-changing announcement.
Steinhatchee School fourth-grader Melanie Brown (center) and her family were surprised to discover she had been awarded a two-year Florida Pre-Paid Scholarship last Tuesday.
