Super-Pufft’s parent company acquired by investment firm

Shearer’s Foods – the nation’s largest supplier of private brand salty snacks and parent company of Super-Pufft, USA in Perry – has been acquired by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), a privately-owned investment firm with offices in New York and London.
