City one step closer to using $1 million in gas tax revenues for paving projects

Despite a plea from City Manager John Hart to hold onto the funds and seek grant funding instead, the city council inched one step closer this week to spending an estimated $1 million in local option gas tax revenues to re-pave several city streets.
