    DMH entrance sink hole repairs to cost $63,800

    Two sinkholes (one of which is shown above) discovered near the entrance to Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) have reduced the driveways to one-lane in certain locations. The Taylor County Commission has agreed to provide $63,800 in reserve funds for the repairs while also reducing the hospital’s share of the county’s 1-cent sales tax by the same amount.

    The Taylor County Commission has agreed to provide $63,800 in funding to Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) to repair two sinkholes located along the entrance and exit road to the hospital, which DMH leases from the county.
