    PPD swears in six new officers

    With friends and family members looking on from the audience, five new patrol officers and one returning officer were sworn in by Perry Police Department Chief Jamie Cruse last Friday. They included (from left) returning officer Dwight Norris and new officers: Tiffany Smigiel, Dillon Putnel, William Davis, Cori Johnson and T.J. Murphy.     A successful recruitment drive by the Perry Police Department (PPD) has netted six new patrol officers who were sworn in for duty on Friday, June 28.
