Schools to completely replace 41 of 63 roofs

Like many Taylor County homes and businesses, Hurricane Idalia caused substantial roof damage to multiple buildings owned by the Taylor County School District. (Above) Workers are shown replacing sections of the roof at Taylor County High School last week. The building was one of 63 that suffered damage caused by the hurricane. The school district is in the midst of a $10.1 million repair and replacement project.
